Networks of Support

The Mount Hope Commission’s (MHC) volunteer model is based on a Networks of Support concept.  We recognize that people lead busy lives and that long-term volunteer commitments can be a barrier to engaging.  For this reason, the MHC is inviting you to tell us how you would like to engage with us and when.  If you have a skill that you believe is applicable to the work of the Commission, or if you want to lend a helping hand when we sponsor an event, let us know.   We will keep a record of your interest and reach out to you when we have a need.  If you are available to assist, great!  If not, there will be other opportunities.

Tell Us How You Might Help

If you feel you have skills that align with the Mount Hope Commission mission, let us know.  Our activities are centered around the following topics and skills:  History, Genealogy, Education, Communications and Public Relations, Social Justice, Truth and Reconciliation, Restorative Practices, Mediation, Book Club Facilitation, Tour or Special Events Planning, ASL Interpreting, and Social Media.

MHC Board of Directors:

If you can make a longer-term commitment and would like to serve on the MHC Board, let us know.  Our Board members serve two-year terms.  We will notify you when we are seeking applications for new members.

Not Sure How You Can Help?

If you’re not exactly sure how you can help, let us know that too and a member of the MHC Board will contact you to discuss further.
